We got home and we were going to BBQ but since it was raining we got Smashburgers instead. I did make my fourth of July cake to be a little festive, it was really good too!

4th of July Weekend
We were lucky on the fourth we got a few hours of hiking in before it started pouring rain. We took the dogs up to Garden of the Gods. It was beautiful there but much more touristy then Palmer Park.
We got home and we were going to BBQ but since it was raining we got Smashburgers instead. I did make my fourth of July cake to be a little festive, it was really good too!

I was just there Saturday! That place is amazing! We had just hiked the incline, so I didn't get to experience the greatness the G of G had to offer, I was so dead tired.
Garden of the Gods is beautiful, we loved. We feel lucky to be so close to all of the hiking here! I don't think that I would dare trying the incline, i get my butt kicked on regular hills!
