Finished Yard

Our yard is finally finished. The patio is sealed. We have the dog run put in. When Tom was here this weekend putting in the A/C we put in a doggie door and a fence in the garage so the dogs can come inside. The dogs are a bit spoiled since they have their own couch in the garage!

4th of July Weekend

We were lucky on the fourth we got a few hours of hiking in before it started pouring rain. We took the dogs up to Garden of the Gods. It was beautiful there but much more touristy then Palmer Park.







We got home and we were going to BBQ but since it was raining we got Smashburgers instead. I did make my fourth of July cake to be a little festive, it was really good too!

Landscaping

They are almost done with our landscaping. Today they are putting up the dog run, putting capstones on our retaining wall and staining the patio. So everything will be done but the grass which is going to go in the only open dirt space in September when we get our sod permit.

Landscape Post 3

Yesterday they came and did all of the edging for our berms and for were the grass will be installed! We also went and bought the perennials we are putting in and some cute planters for the front of the house so at least it looks like someone lives here now!
