As our time here comes to a close here is a list of the things that I will miss from Germany.
-The emu’s that live behind us
-Outings and walks with Marita & Christian
-Witnessing German traditions (Karneval, May day)
-Having bike paths and trails to walk on right in our backyard
-The goats, deer, emus and other assorted animals we pass walking around the neighborhood
-Our adventures with Marita & Christian
-Shopping and sushi with Elizabeth
-The small German touristy towns like Ahrweiler and Monschau
-Cobblestone pedestrian streets
-Boutique type stores
-Italian Eis in Heinsberg
-Il Genios
-Market days
-European clothes and style
-The ease of hopping a plane or train to anywhere in Europe
-Extra money we get from COLA
-Bike rides behind Haus Hamacher
-BBQ’ing
-How pretty it is when everything is in bloom
-Brotchen
-Riding through the strawberry fields when they are ripe
-Walking through the fields at dusk with Luke and the dogs.
-Sundays when everything is closed and you aren’t supposed to do any yard work, it is a day for relaxing and spending with friends and family.
-Once a week shopping trips to Schinnen.
-Getting hot chocolate at the Bookmark
-The mustard fields in the spring
-Taking classes with Professor Bill at GK
-cheap lunches at Cam Nguyen
